These are our  online notes on stuff we've found fun, interesting, useful, or just a waste of time.  Mostly doggy stuff since that's our passion.

I've been seriously training dogs since 1997.  I had several dogs  before that, but it wasn't until 1997 that I got a dog that needed something more than basic pet skills.  It was that first obedience class that showed me a new level of communication with a  dogs . . . prior to that, I was more than happy if my dog didn't get into any trouble, could walk on leash, and do a few tricks.  But then I started to discover all the the things they could learn . . . and that they were clearly trying to tell me stuff beyond "give me food" and "I'd like to go outside", if I would only learn to listen.
